Priorat

The Designation of origin of Great Quality PRIORAT covers a small area of which only 1,600 hectares have been planted with vines. The orography is very rough, which  implies complicated, demandingly and very costly work at the vineyards. The region produces a few grapes, but, in exchange, the vines offer a grape of exceptional quality which, in hands of his passionate vine-growers, turns into a wines recognized over the world by his marked character and his extraordinary complexity.
