Artigas Blanc is a white blend of Garnacha Blanca (70%), Pedro Ximénez (20%), and Macabeu (10%). This wine is the special cuvée of the Mas Alta winery.
TASTING NOTES
It is a subtle wine thanks to its excellent balance of body, acidity, minerality, and gentle aging in Burgundy-style barrels.
AGING
Half of the must from each variety ferments in barrels and the other half in tanks. Aging lasts 10 months: 50% in new French oak barrels and 50% in concrete tanks.
