Tarragona

The Denomination of Origin Tarragona extends by 73 municipalities located mainly to the districts of the Camp of Tarragona and part of the Ribera d'Ebre. The red wines of the Camp de Tarragona have personality and they are very aromatic. The red wines of the Ribera d'Ebre harmonize the body and the color of the Carignanand the richness of the Grenache. The most used grapes in the area are Ull de llebre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carignan and Syrah. The DO Tarragona brings some soft and light white wines in the Camp de Tarragona that contrasts with the body and color of the Ribera reds.
