Ruxe Ruxe Mencia

Ruxe Ruxe is a red wine from the Ribera Sacra DO made with the Mencía grape variety (100%).

TASTING NOTES
Purple cherry red with violet rims. On the nose, we find fruity and floral aromas with spicy and saline notes.

PAIRING
This wine is ideal for red meats, blue fish and seafood, Iberian cured meats, cheeses, and rice dishes.

OBSERVATIONS
Ruxe Ruxe is the expression used in Galician to describe the rumblings the stomach makes when it feels hungry, or "el gusanillo" (the little worm). The illustration for this wine is by Jaume Coca and illustrates this sensation with a character with butterflies emerging from his stomach. The savory aromas released by the wine awaken the stomach, begging to be satiated by this wine.
