Nelin is an aged white wine, based on the Grenache but is accompanied by a long list of varieties in its blend (Viognier, Pinot Noir, Macabeo, Pedro Ximenez and Marsanne). It is a white wine that follows the same idea of wine. Plays with its skins, indigenous yeast and 6-month-long fermentation times, then aging for more than 15 months and using all kinds of materials, starting the first phase with woods, then through cement, ceramics and even in his last stainless phase. Nelin is the harmony of terroir of Priorat, a white wine that does not leave anyone indifferent.
TASTING NOTE
Intense yellow color. It is a garden of diversity and color. Wide aromatic palette, filled with flowers, notes of wax, honeycomb and quince, mineral, chalky notes and a saline background and interesting light oxidation. In addition we also find features of the barrel. The palate offers many nuances being a fresh and round wine. Wine with character.
AGING
This wine is fermented in oak barrels and vats with indigenous yeasts, later aging in oak vats and cement vats for 16 months. It is bottled in March.
