Pago de los Capellanes crianza is a monovarietal vintage red wine, 100% Tempranillo from vineyards with an average age of 35 years.
TASTING NOTE
Intense bright cherry color with cardinal rims. On the nose, it's frank with a good balance betweeen fruit and wood where the vanilla tones blend with ripe fruit, black and wild fruits. It has leather and liquorice notes due to the blend between the french oak and the varietal bouquets. On the palate, it's smooth but full of balanced flavors and fine tannins that help the wine to extend its life. Long and elegant aftertaste.
AGING
Aged in French oak barrels with a medium toast for 12 months, and then in a bottle rack.
