Pesquera Millenium Gran Reserva is a single-varietal red wine, 100% Tempranillo. The first vintage of this wine was produced in 1996, and its grapes come from the Viña Alta plot.
TASTING NOTES
Bright ruby red color with a brick-red rim. Spicy notes, light toasted notes, and pastry notes... this is a very complex wine with an extraordinary capacity to improve once opened. Well-structured, gentle, and silky. A sweet, balanced attack, with good acidity, and a finish marked by its aging.
AGING
Aged for 26 months in French oak barrels.
PAIRING
Perfect with stews, red meats, and cured cheeses.
