Laquarta Grandes Cosechas is a single-varietal Crianza red wine, 100% Cariñena from old vines around 40 years old, located in plots in the towns of Bot, Gandesa, and Horta de Sant Joan.
TASTING NOTES
Ruby red color of medium intensity. Its aromatic expression is subtle, fresh, and rich in nuances. Its mineral (or earthy) and black fruit aromas, both very characteristic of the variety, are notable, as are its very fine balsamic and aging notes. The palate offers a fresh and pleasant aftertaste, a balance that confirms the exceptional quality of this wine.
WINEMAKING
Vintage selected and hand-picked. Traditional winemaking at a controlled temperature.
AGING
Aged for 12 months in 225- and 500-liter French oak barrels, first, second, and third years of use.
PAIRING
This is an ideal wine for food, with a wide range of possibilities: cured meats and cheeses, red meats, grilled fish, salads, pasta... It is undoubtedly a perfect wine for the finest occasions.
