Ciroc is a French vodka made from Mauzac Blanc (Gaillac region) and Ugni Blanc (Cognac region) grapes. The juice extracted from these two grape varieties is fermented and distilled, which distinguishes it from other vodkas. Ciroc also emphasizes that they distill five times. The first four distillations are of the Ugni Blanc grapes and take place in stainless steel column stills, and the final distillation is of the Mauzac Blanc grapes and takes place in continuous copper stills. These are distilled at 96.5% and 93.5% respectively and then blended together.
Ciroc is characterized by using winemaking, fermentation, and maceration techniques to produce its vodkas, in addition to distilling five times.
