Koriyama Japanese whisky

Koriyama is a Japanese blended whisky produced by the Sasanokawa Shuzo Distillery, the oldest sake distillery in the Tohoku region.

TASTING NOTES
A smooth and harmonious whisky with delicate notes of vanilla and toffee, while on the palate, nuances of apricot and caramel emerge, enveloped in a round and silky texture. The finish offers subtle woody accents enhanced by hints of roasted cocoa.

PRODUCTION
A blend of grain whiskies (made from corn) and the distillery's own malts, distilled twice in traditional pot stills, a method that gives the whisky exceptional depth. To perfect its character, this whisky is carefully aged in Bourbon and new American oak casks, where it acquires richness and balance.
