Chafandín is a red wine monovarietal, 100% Tempranillo. It is a wine exclusively of Pago de Chafandín grapes and whose vineyard has an approximate age of 40 years. They are extraordinary grapes, of small diameter, with a skin of greater thickness that gives at the same time greater concentration in the macerations.
TASTING NOTE
Pillar red color. Clean and bright. It came with intense aromas of ripe black fruit, mineral sensations and fine woods. In the mouth it is very wide, with fruit volume and of great route. Ending with a lingering aftertaste.
ELABORATION
Fermentation for 12 days at a temperature of 26ºC. Maceration with their skins for 17 days.
AGING
Malolactic in French oak barrels of 300 liters and aged for 17 months in new French oak barrels and 1 year.
