Rioja

Privileged region for the cultivation of the vine and elaboration of wines of high quality with unique personality and great aptitude for the breeding, the production area of the Denomination of Origin Qualified Rioja is located in the North of Spain, to both edges of the river Ebro. The experience of winegrowers and processors has made it possible to make a natural selection of those varieties of grapes that showed better qualities of adaptation to the climatology and Rioja's soils and that, at the same time, were able to provide wines of the highest quality. Some of the varieties that are currently cultivated are: Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, Viura, Malvasía, Chardonnay, Verdejo.
