Serras del Priorat is a red wine blend of Grenache (55%), Carignan (20%), Syrah (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) from vineyards of 10 years.
TASTING NOTE
Intense color, medium layer, blue trim. Clean and bright. On the nose, we feel primary bouquets of red fruit and subtle floral touches. Notes of minerality with memories of vanilla. Mediterranean herbs ending. Fresh and wide mouth, long ending, mineral aftertaste and fruity with Mediterranean souvenirs (rosemary, lavender ...).
PREPARATION
Vertical press with soft pressing. Fermentation in 2,500 liter tanks at a controlled temperature. Daily pigeage. Maceration after alcoholic fermentation for 2 weeks.
AGING
Aged for 7 months in second year French oak barrels. Light filtration is done before bottling.
PAIRING
Perfect to join tapas, rice dishes, Iberian ham and other meats.
