Muga Vintage is a vintage red wine coupage of Tempranillo, Grenache, Carignan and Graciano.
TASTING NOTE
Bright ruby red colorand garnet rim. On the nose, it's intense and complex. It has primary bouquets of raspberry and blackbery, seconday bouquets of vanilla and liquorice with a subtle hint of chocolate and ripe fruit. On the palatem it's balanced with smooth tannin and good acidity. Very long and fruity ending.
PREPARATION
Handmade harvest. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in wooden vats. Aged for 22 motnhs in barrels made with a selection of oaks that are 80% French oak and 20% Central European and American oak. Before bottling, a clarification is done with fresh egg whites. Once bottled, a refining process is done for a minimun of 9 motnhs.
