Conca de Barberà

A good part of the wines produced in Conca de Barberà are white and rosé, destined to the obtaining of sparkling wine with Denomination Cava. However, we are in an area with privileged conditions for the production of some quiet wines, especially the red ones, which are excellent. Winemakers are aware of this potential, and they are coordinating efforts to obtain high quality wines and little by little grows the production that is finally bottled with DO Conca de Barberà. The rosé wine is the most characteristic of the denomination of origin and it comes from the red grape Trepat, native variety of Conca de Barberà. It is a remarkable wine, light, fresh and fruity, pink-raspberry, clean and bright. In the white they emphasize the traditional varieties like Macabeu and Parellada and in the blacks they come from Ull de Llebre and Grenache.
